I can only say that I have first hand experience from several peopel in the past and still currently who sell decals that have only regular adhesive. This tyoe of adhesive is useless in a high temp environment.

As you know brakes generate a tremenedous amount of heat and the stickers w/o the high temp adhesive simply peel off or deform / melt.
