Custom carbon fiber splitter/TTE lip combo (bumper maybe)
I am selling my TTE rep lip with custom handmade carbon fiber splitter. The TTE rep is fiberglass. I bought it 5+ years ago and it has no cracks or any damage.
I made the splitter myself from scratch. I hand laid the base using fiberglass. Shaped it how I wanted and then wrapped it in real carbon fiber and set it with carbon fiber epoxy. I would prefer to cut the bumper in half and just ship the lower end since I can ship it lower.
If you want the entire bumper, we would need to discuss that since I would have to ship it Greyhound and that means an 1 hour 40 minute drive one way to the nearest station.
Rainwater was causing the epoxy to oxidize repeatedly despite me waxing it and trying other methods so I sanded it and brushed on acrylic automotive clear (there are drip marks on the bottom that could be cut or sanded off). The splitter ready should be sanded and professionally cleared to look better but it was just a project for me. I can take more pics if needed. Last pic was the day I took it off.
PM me if anyone is interested. If not, I guess it'll just go into storage or something. These don't really come up for sale since it's custom. Asking $250 shipped. We can discuss the whole bumper if someone really wants the whole thing.

He hasn't responded. I'm just going to trash the thing man. No one really seems to want it. There is epoxy between the TTE and the splitter and I would have to cut that all off to separate them. Between shipping and what you're probably willing to pay, its not really worth the effort. Guess that's what happens when you make one off stuff sometimes. Oh well, I enjoyed the look when I had it.
