it is weird... the car has NEVER been in an accident before. those of you who have said that it may have been tampered with got me thinking... i think it was loose because right before it came off i thought i was hearing some air and i got that feeling in my ears (like there was a change in cabin pressure). i did manage to pick up the frame though and took a look at it and i couldn't tell if anyone had tried to pry at it or something... i don't know...... i'll just get a new one or get one from someone else. anyone with any ideas??? it's past it's mileage warranty period though... now it's just engine and powertrain... (wouldn't this be damage due to ENGINE torque??) jk...

my friend used to dive his prelude over 100 with the roof open and it never flew off??? odd.

made it a hard top . be #6 (according to my dealer in 1997 they shipped 5 GS gen2s w/o a sunroof...I still have not seen one

Time to check salavage yards for GS's that have been in accidents. More that likely they don't have sunroof damage.
