Default OEM Clutch Master Already Modified for 2GS Manual Tranny Swap

This is a OEM Toyota Aisin 5/8" Bore Supra Clutch Master Cylinder (same bore used on Supra, SC, IS) it is Brand New and unused but does have some scuffs and marks on the body from being test fitted.

This has been modified already to be a easier fit on a 2GS Manual conversion. The two issues with using a stock IS300 cylinder is that the pushrod shaft is not quite long enough due to the firewall of the GS being a bit thicker, and also the reservoir hitting the brake booster wiring connectors.

This MC that has a longer pushrod shaft installed and also has an is300 reservoir cup that has been cut and epoxied to angle towards the driver fender to clear the brake booster connectors. (the stock IS reservoir is facing forward, and the SC/Supra cup is even worse because it angles towards the passenger side, into the brake booster even more)

A master cylinder are around $120 new, this one is mechanically brand new and has never been used or had fluid in it...

I could not find the new rubber reservoir cap that it came with, it is in the garage somewhere, but I had a used cap that is in good shape other than being a little dirty and is included.

SOLD includes shipping anywhere in the 48 states..

I tried and tried to find a used manual set, ebay was flooded with auto pedal sets dirt cheap, but never a manual during the couple months I watched, I called all the junk yards in my area to and nothing, is300 and sc300 manual pedal sets are so popular the move as soon as they are listed and bring in a premium price most of the time. So I just bit the bullet and ordered it all the individual parts for the clutch pedal, support bracket, springs/clips, etc brand new for like $170 (not including the master cylinder).

Here is the lexus part numbers list and quantities if you need it:

I looked into the wilwood offerings in the beginning, a friend used the setup in a hotrod he built. A great setup, but I suggest you take the lower dash apart and look up in there first before you buy the kit, as there is absolutely no room under there..

The IS pedal setup is about as easy as it gets for manual swapping a car that was never designed for 3 pedals to ever fit.. It was intimidating to begin, but went rather well after I got into the mood..

Obviously I'm trying to sell this extra cylinder, but honestly with that aside, to anyone thinking of doing a manual swap, I highly suggest using the IS300 clutch pedal and mounting box, it really is a --damn close-- fit and worked out great in the end.

I'm not saying it's super easy to do as it is a pretty big project to take on, but it' surely not the hardest thing I've had to work through modifying cars over the years..
