did a complete front brake overhaul today... rotors, stoptech ss lines, hawk pads, motul rb600 fluid and overhaul hardware kit but i presume my driver side caliper is sticking. i have the dba australia 4000 series rotors, drilled and with the distinctive kangaroo pattern along with the painted surface that changes color according to rotor temperature. well, the driver side is scorching hot and steaming, while the pass. side is in normal working temperature. previously, while the car was in gear, it would move when brakes were not applied, now it won't move an inch. anyone local have a driver side caliper in working condition, with no piston rust please let me know

U probably best off going to autozone n picing up one of their higher rade calipers.. they warantee and everything..calipers do wear in terms of its components.. u went all out on rotors and all that..worth getting new caliper too..don't ruin ur rotors..same situation happened to me too.. id recomend u getting oem from sewell if u can thoug.. oem rebuilt is usually best. Good luck

i went the autozone route. picked up a fresh driver side caliper for $66 and got back $45 on the core. a great deal for a quality rebuilt and warrantied unit for just $21 bucks that also included the brake hardware kit
