Once I got it home & fully unwrapped it I found a couple issues with the intercooler.
First, the inlet & outlet are 2.75" NOT 3" like you said.
Second, this was not listed in the description at all.
Let me know whats up because it should look like the other side.

Thanks for being fair & working it out Mike. Everything is sealed up nice and tight & pressure tested @ 30psi. Now I just need to get it mounted so I can fab up the piping.

Glad to hear it. Shoot me some pics of the piping once you have it all rigged up bro. Good luck on the build.

Question- How does the Precision turbo, like the T62, compare to the HKS T51R?
To be honest, I’m not sure. I don’t know enough about precision’s new billet wheels on those turbos. I know billet wheels are good, they can be made lighter and allow more area on the blade, but it really just depends on how much Research and development went into them.
The HKS is made by Garrett to HKS’s specs. And Garrett’s does a lot of R&D makes good stuff.
Precision uses Garrett parts in some of their turbos also, and Precision makes good stuff as well.
I think the HKS turbo has a bigger turbine and therefore should flow more, which means it could make more power. And it has a ported shroud which helps reduce compressor surge and should help it be more efficient.
Hard to say without having any real comparison info to look at. I would say overall, I would take the HKS, cause it is made by Garrett and Garrett has probably the best reputation around.
