SRT Intake w/ RACE ECU - Heat Shield - GS400
I have a SRT intake from my old GS400 and the RACE ECU as well for sale, both items must go together. The Intake is in great shape with a few scratches on the bottom ( as seen in pic) which you'll get anyway and is not noticable once installed. It has been painted with black. The ECU has enough length on the wires for an easy install. 290.00 shipped
Custom heat shield made by one of the members from CL a looong while back. Constructed out of airplane alluminum and coated with 3M foam on the inside. Keeps the engine heat away and also does shield some of the noise. Exterioir is perfect and the insterior near the pipe entrance could use a new coat of foam, which I do have extra. 115.00 shipped
Pm me if you have any questions, thanks.

I was under the impression that the electronics for this intake are to be soldered to the wire harness of the main ECU for the car so that it can change the fuel map to match the increase in intake volume for a more efficient combustion.

On a personal note, the car ran richer with the RACE ECU.
