I've always wanted to design a GS400 with an Eaton roots type supercharger, specifically the 03-04 Cobra SC unit. It's decently easy to find and not too expensive. I have my own AC/DC TIG welder now and access to a machine shop with CNC facilities. Only thing is that I don't have a GS400 myself to develop one. Not to mention that I don't have as much time now days. Would be a fun project though

hey rmm, can i get the specs/ info on your intercooler and radiator hose area? hell if you anyone has an sc'd gs4 want to give some parts lists type info? oh I just saw your post jeff, I have a bracket for the 1uz that needs to modified/ CNC'd etc. the rest of the parts I still need like intercooler, etc. Also itschris, I agree but right now I don't have time to source the clip and the definite down time in a 2j swap, not to mention I don't want to do that to myv8, granted as soon as I get back I'll be getting an 05 gs and going that rout

I'm sure the supercharger kits for the 400 are at least 10k+, while a 2jz I'm sure is much cheaper, as front clips are about 4k or so. I guess if your not in a hurry you can do the supercharger but I'm sure your car will be down for quite a while.

just my 0.02

sorry mods my fault for responding to this, i thought it was a GS 2nd gen thread not a WTB.
I got my entire set up slightly used for $4.3k.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/2ge...arger-kit.html

This was a bolt on install completed on the weekend. No internals were touched or required with 6 lbs of boost. I get 22 mpg freeway and I smog tested the car and it runs clean enough to pass.

The stock tranny is good up to this power range and it's been reliable for 3+ years.

DaveGS4 (now sold to Veritek) and vwynn also have the RMM kit with no complaints.

If someone duplicated this kit, I'd say it would be pretty popular.

RMM had a blow out sale when they discontinued it. It was I believe $4871.

Seriously, I have the contacts to make this. I even have a guy that can waterjet things out of Inconel.
I just need the numbers.

The RMM SC runs an independent belt to the steering pump pulley.

Default ..................

I have an rmm kit with the bracket already custom made for a gs430. I am only missing one part. (well i believe its actually consists of four parts) I need the idler belt tensioner (i believe thats what it is called). Correct me if I'm wrong Glen. I think you know what part it is since we have talked about it a few times. If anybody out there can get this part made, then we can definitely work something out to have extra parts made to possibly make my one kit into two kits (or more). I have the whole kit sitting in my garage. Anybody feel free to respond or PM me if you are serious about getting this done.

Hey Robert,
we've talked about your missing parts for a long time already (over a year?), so now that there is so much interest, you know I can resolve your missing parts. I've been PMing with the gs400civi several times already so I think both of you can get taken care of. Check your pm.
