It was built by MCR Performance Staters and Alternators

It replaces 98-00 GS400, LS400, SC400 4.0L

Yes I believe it will work the only thing that looks different is the plugs location. where the Gs400 is on the side the GS300 is on the top.

i am pretty sure that wont work with 2gs300 ...if you see the hole on the top for a bolt, its not there for gs400 but you need it there for Gs300 to hookup!

Thats the ground for the alternator`s casing. (wire)

The ground hole isn't necessary for the casing. The alternator itself is bolted onto the engine, and the engine is grounded to the car.
