FS: OEM Car Cover 2nd Gen, practically new $80 shipped
Let me know if you want me to take pics of the cover on the car, it is a light gray color. I had this on my 2002 gs430, my car has a wing but I'm sure it would still work on a wingless car.

It is an outdoor cover, are the tie downs that you are speaking of the fabric hoops that you could tie string or hook something through them to go underneath the car and cinch the cover down?

sk, from the looks of the bag it is an OEM Lexus car cover that is fitted to the 2GS. It uses elastic around the corners and the bag is connected to the cover and gets shut in the trunk. There is a clear space for the license plate.
Assuming this is the same, I don't recall any hoops or grommets in my old one, it fit the 2GS very well and never came off when I used it. I did try to put it on my 98 LS at one point and it doesn't fit very well if that's what you are considering it for.... corners don't quite make it down to connect under the car on both ends.

To agree with what Dave said, I have the same cover for my 430 and generally use it when it's going to be crappy after a fresh cleaning (Black Oynx)...it has never flown off or anything. The cover fits very tight and would require your hands to go underneath the bumpers and pull the elastic back for it to budge. It tucks under your bumpers and goes down to almost the ground on your tires. I had a picture of one on my car but can't find it. Good luck with the sale!
