Default *** Tanabe MEdallion Touring - used 400 miles ***

SOLD to timgs300

I prefer a more quiet muffler so the Tanabe is on the market. I'm taking it off the car tomorrow morning and will have an update with pictures, but this cat-back exhaust system is going on sale for: $575 + paypal + shipping!!!!!

Part number T70024

For those of you who are not familiar with the cat-back of choice for the GS 2nd Gen:

A refined level of performance and drivability is available in the MEDALLION TOURING.

The elegant, well defined appearance of MEDALLION TOURING is mature, and matches the artistry of a tastefully built, highly tuned machine.

Using the all new 'continuous strand' ADVANTEX packing material technology, MEDALLION TOURING achieves extremely high levels of exhaust system efficiency, while maintaining a street drivable, extremely low frequency and deep tone that is well under 93db for discreet sports driving.

This system requires no removable silencer for under 93db operation at all rpms. The extremely deep, low frequency tone keeps in-cabin noise to a minimum.

The full SUS304 stainless MEDALLION TOURING features a slim-line oval canister, and a special dual wall, angle-cut tip.

This premium quality system is for sports driving.

Thanks but I just got back from buying a new y-pipe and my Rod Millen Motor sports mufflers came in Monday.

You don't like the Borla? I thought it had a hella nice tone to it?!

Quote frankly, it was just too loud. There are a lot of guys that like the sound but I prefer the Borla or Rod Millen, clearly I'm not a booster candidate

Dude.....you need to work something out NOW!! I listed this thing so I could sell it in a few days instead of a few weeks. I'm taking a loss because my garage is busting at the seems now and if I complain about not having any room for my 350Z again to the Mrs., I deserve all that she cares to comment on.

Have you heard Borla exhaust sounds in person. Reason i ask, is Tanabe louder than Borla in person.

IMO the Tanabe is louder than the Borla. The Tanabe is a cat-back, meaning that the Tanabe replaces the y-pipe with a larger diameter, straighter designed, y-pipe to the mufflers and the mufflers are slightly larger. I posted a poll and talked to a few members about the differences and other than all of the other choices out there, most of the members really gauged the MT as the quietest:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=377699

From my opinion, all three, Borla, RMM, and Tanabe MT are all quiet. The MT is seems to have a mid-car rumble that I'm avoiding which is the reason selling. I love the set-up, just not for me driving clients around and visiting Federal agencies.
