WTT: SPOILER trunk for NON-SPOILER trunk silver metallic
Just as the title states. I would like to trade my Trunk w/ Spoiler for a Spoilerless Trunk silver metallic. I am located in Tallahassee Florida if anyone is local that is interested.

Dr. VIP -
I'm interested in how this swap goes for you. I've done the swap and can pass along some insight and as well, would like to see how your swap finishes out.
By the way, took me about 2 or 3 posts (or about 2-3 months to find someone willing to swap).
Let me know.

Curious, as well, how hard it is to switch the entire trunk and spoiler. I'm sure it's a major PITA to get everything aligned and working like original. When I was looking for my GS4, I was sure I wanted one with a spoiler, but ended up getting a car w/out spoiler. Then I realized I was much happier w/out the spoiler.

Second, regarding hints, well...there aren't any. Find a good trunk that you'll like and be happy with. Then take apart both cars. First, the trunk comes off, then the interior comes out (seats, back panel with sub-woofer cover). Then put the cars back together. First put interior back together (back panel, seats), then put trunk on.
BE CAREFULL and make sure your trunk is aligned properly (meaning undoubtably perfect) before you try closing it with any real effort. This step in the process should take a good 30-60 minutes. Less if your lucky; more if you're not.
Also, make sure your tail lights ALL work perfectly. And then monitor them a few times here and then in the following weeks.
Let me know how it goes. Still trying to figure out why two of the bulbs in my interior brake light aren't working. I'm sure its a programming issue as the trunk 3rd brake light is LED and the interior brake light regular bulb. Anyway, Lexus dealer doesn't believe me and they don't want to touch a wiring diagnostic.
