Default Brand New:........ TT BBK for sale

I thought these were going to clear my wheels but need like 5-7 mm to clear. So I'm selling these to re-coup the money to pursue another more expensive BBK that may clear.

$520+shipping from 37217

Pm me if interested.

Here's the thread when I bought it.

not sure if this is a good answer, but you will need wheels that are high disk or the spoke design gives enough clearance bit bbk clearance

Dsouth, sorry to hear that they dont clear the wheels. Well I have pretty much given up on installing my rotora bbk unless I find a reasonable set of wheels that could clear this kit. Good luck with the sale and check your pm's.

Frank, my Lowenhart BR5's clear my Rotora front BBK ( 4 piston/355mm ) and they are not high disk ( 20 X 9 +38 - 2.5 -2.75" lip ). Of course the BR5's do have a relatively curved spoke design and this is important, too. If you have not tried, check the Rotora template for clearance. The TT front caliper is wider than the Rotora.

TeeLex, I have a set of br5's in storage that need to be refinished. I never even thought about checking them. Mine are 19" and I am not sure but I think the offset is around 45. Thanks for reminding me about my old wheels.

Hey GS4, try it on those your Lowenharts b/c I have +43-45 offset on my rim as wheel. If they clear then I'm getting the same set-up Rotoras. Heck, send one caliper to me and I'll try it on.

Does anyone know if the optional 17" OEM wheels on a 2003 GS430 wii clear these?

nop, you will need spacers for that. look at the wheel spokes. if they are still pretty close to the current stock brakes (which i think is the case), then it won't clear the tt setup

Some interests but no bites/ guess I just keep them & run spacers. Won't find a cheaper deal on brand new calipers for the money that is.

Curious as to what else is needed to complete the brake upgrade kit. Sorry for the newbie question.

Supra-sized rotors, stainless brake lines and brake pads. I would recommend getting some aftermarket rotors ( Brembo, Rotora, etc ) that are drilled or slotted - or both! That way you'll have a completely new set-up that will really enhance your braking and looks.
