Borla exhaust for 2nd gen GS
Borla exhaust in nice shape. We pitched the flimsy junk Borla rubber hangers and replaced them with heavy duty rubber hangers and welded stops. These held the tips perfectly centered in the bumper cutouts. We didn't butcher the Borla mounts, so you can go back to their setup if you'd rather. Tips and cans are in nice shape; clean and shiny. Each tip has a minor ding on the bottom side, that you can't see unless you look under the car (full disclosure) $250 plus shipping. I'm in NorCal, south bay.

might take this set up..fit a 98 gs400? u sure it sits flush and center in the cutouts? possible pic of when it was installed on the gs it came off of? im just worried it will sit like the other exhausts on the market hanging real low and the left muffler off too far two the left of the cutout seems to be a problem with a lot of them...id like it to be sitting practically touching the top of the cutout, flush with it and close to center of each side...hows this compared to what im lookin for? email me at upstategs@yahoo.com...also need to know what the shippings going to be to zip 12401, thanks.

If upstateGS4 does not take these, I would like to buy.
I am also curious on how the fit the cutouts.
Also, are those Borla tips, and are the welded or clamp on?
Please advise on how much to ship to Houston, Texas 77055.
Thanks

pleas view my thread here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...56#post1890656 with my questions about your exhaust. since you dont have pics of it on the car or from the back end so i can see the shape of the tips (could you send me one?!) could you atleast let me know if its the same exhaust as the one GILLLEXUS AND bliu from my thread have? are the tips welded on or bolt on? sorry bout all the questions but also why'd you add new brackets if its the same exhaust as these guys have it seems to already fit perfectly...

I thought I had a box large enough, but I don't, so I'll have to go out and get one before I can give everyone shipping costs. My items get packed really well.
I can pretty much assure you that you're not going to bolt these up and have them exactly centered in the openings, due to manufacturing tolerances; everyone's car is a little different. We had to heat the metal hangers and the pipe on one side, as well, to get 'em perfect. Any competent muffler shop will be able to do this for you, no problem.
I don't have a pic with them on the car, so here's one from the gallery with the same setup (Thank you, DaveGS4). In the pic, the left one's a little lower than the right, but we were able to get mine same height with the heat trick.
Those are Borla tips, and they come welded on from the factory.
Lastly, you do not see the cans below the bumper with these mufflers, which is the main reason I chose them.

I'll respect upstate having first option on these, but I am satisfied with your answers and ready to purchase. Can send you a cashiers check as soon as you decide. Just ask for a fair price on UPS or FedEx ground to a business address in Houston - 77055.
Thanks,
Tom
