Decided to go with either the K&N, or keep it stock. Too loud on one end, even though on the other end, there's much better performance from the SRT.

Your probably right, but it's just taking up space in my house, so it never hurts to post. Also, i was told that you can just contact Mo or someone at SRT about obtaining an ecu for about 150. Sor fig. 300 total for used SRT Intake w/ new ecu. Not bad.....SRT INTAKE FOR SALE ONLY...NO ECU!

I've heard you can't run this Intake without the ECU, is that correct?

As far as i know, you can't run it w/o the ECU, unless you have the Apexi S-AFC II. which will manage your air fuel ration.

Not personally, but i'm told that it can be done. Also, i'm pretty sure it can be bc that's what the ECU does.

There is at least one person who has run this combo, but I can't track down the name at the moment.

you know whats funny

you can run the RMM supercharger without any kind of ecu

they say the computer will learn and thats when you are dumping air down the TB

i wonder why it wouldn't learn this setup ?

bump for a good seller

The SRT pipe is wider than OEM and the air flow is less restrictive.... it gets more air than the ECU knows what to do with and the car runs very badly, stalls, you lose a lot of power over stock (as proven in a dyno test CL did with a SRT intake with no ECU).

Not something I'd recommend anyone do.

Grr... That's funny though, cuz another member said they called not to long ago, told them their ecu was bad, and Mo sent them a new one. If he won't do it, he won't do it. All i can recommend do is use the Apexi S-AFC II if MO won't sell just the ecu.
