Default Raising Headlight Projectors..

Hi i know you can adjust the projecters up and down. But i just want to know if members are doing this when they are adding aftermarket HID's. And if they are adjusting the projector higher are they getting a better response?

I had to adjust my HID down after installing rims/springs. Since I have HID fog lights, I can adjust my low beam a little higher so I can see farther, but low enough so that I dont blind other people.

It should be on page 318 of your owner's manual. But if you're like me hate reading manuals this should help you out. Just turn accordingly on how high/low you want them with a phillips screwdriver.

I adjusted mine up also. I wanted more yellow ground coverage from my HID fogs. I decided to do it after I was on a nice dark canyon road, and just felt like I couldn't see more than 30' of ground in front of me.

I thought at first I went to high with the them, but I haven't been flashed in the year since I've done it, so I guess I'm probably right at the border of acceptable.

Will the adjustment effect the auto-leveling?

I haven't lowered my car (yet), but I still get flashed like crazy. The dealer has checked my HIDs twice, and said they are at factory spec. Cop pulled me over one time, and I showed records from the dealer checkup, and he let me go.

I think some people believe the city lights are the low beams, and the HIDs are the high beams. They see that many lights on, and they think my hi beams are on.
