Default Replacement on the way! S&S Stands by thier product

No check engine light on mine yet.

I spoke with Loren @ S&S, he was very helpful. They are sending me an advanced replacement within 2 weeks... no questions asked. He confirmed my purchase through his records and set up the RMA. All it took was one phone call so far.

Some pics.

I also discovered a missing nut and bolt at the flange behind the CAT. Exhaust was leaking a little here too.

Yeah Loren and his crew are the best. Good luck with the replacement. So far mine are still holding up. Nice angles on the pics.

Default Replacement Header is Here

It arrived at my door step on 6-11-07. I hope to get it installed next week. So far S&S has kept thier word. I am pleased with the RMA service.

Default Titan Motorsports Hooked Me Up!

The defective header has been replaced. As you can see it was cracked almost all the way around.

The new one is in finally!!! Sounds soooooo good!

so everything is ironed out with all these cracked S&S header issues? nobody having problems with sets purchased recently? i read through the whole thread start to finish, its been interesting hearing about all you guys that dealt with this ****.. sort of happy im deciding now to pick up a set of these for the 430 rather then being one of the ones to find out the hard way about the first string had i bought them for the 400 before i sold it... think these paired up with my exisiting srt intake/ecu kit and borla mufflers will be an ok combo?

mine have been fine since I did the re-weld.....

I'm interested to hear the numbers that the JPI headers produce.

I'm about to install mine hopefully by the end of this week. I'm wondering about the numbers for the JPI's myself. Does anyone know of somebody that bought a set?

Nobody has a JPI header. They don't even exist yet.

Still under R&D.

Not true that they're in R&D or that some has a set already?

I think it is safe to assume that speedaddic has the first set - very likely the the R&D set.

I don't know if any are installed yet but there is at least one set as I have held them in my hands.

They are very similar in design to the S&S but have a couple of differences that could make for a different result. We shall see.
