Watch This Kid Jump on a Lexus LFA Like an Expensive Trampoline
Seeing this young child jump on this Lexus LFA like it’s some sort of jungle gym makes us cringe, but this is no case of free range parenting.
From the day it launched, the Lexus LFA was a pricey proposition with a price tag of $375,000, sans options. That was a lot of money over a decade ago, and it’s still a substantial sum today, particularly since the Lexus LFA has since become a popular entity on the collector car market. These days, buying a nice LFA will set you back far more than a half-million dollars, which is precisely why we cringed in a major way when we watched this video recently shared by an Atlanta-based photographer named Ethan.
Pretty much any car guy worth their salt will do the same when they watch this young child climbing and jumping on the LFA like a half-million dollar trampoline, praying that it isn’t getting scratched or dented up, even though it isn’t our car and we don’t even know the owner. Still, this seems like pure sacrilege, and the first thing that comes to mind is, where are the parents while the insane act of neglect is taking place?
First, we see the kid standing on the rear portion of the car, using the spoiler as support before tumbling onto the rear glass, which thankfully doesn’t shatter. He then stands on the roof before jumping up in the air – with his Crocs on – and landing on the windshield, which also doesn’t crack. We can later see him jumping up and down on the roof, which is perhaps the most cringeworthy scene in all of this.

Luckily, this isn’t some case of free range parenting gone wrong, as the kid in the video is apparently the child of the LFA’s owner, who lets him do these sorts of things. Apparently, this is pretty common, as the owner reportedly lets his son jump on his car whenever he gets the itch, which is pretty horrifying to us, at least. But hey, we aren’t in the business of giving out parental advice, so we suppose that the owner can do whatever he wants with his super expensive, iconic, V10-powered supercar.
