Just in case you missed all the headlines and news stories, Lexus unveiled the new 2021 IS this week. We covered the launch itself, and we talked about all the new changes come together to actually enhance the car. But with that out of the way, let’s talk about what you guys think about the car. We’ve been scouring this ClubLexus mega-thread on the car all day to pick out some of the best reactions since the reveal to see what Lexus got right (and what they got wrong). Here are the five hits of the 2021 Lexus IS launch, according to you guys.
New Styling
The new design is relatively incremental, but a lot of you guys are digging how the overall look is a touch more modern and subdued. We think Xanadu350 hit the nail on the head with their take on the new shape.
I think the F sport grill looks less aggressive, almost like Lexus heard people complain it was too big and too Alien looking, now it looks more streamlined, lower and with some added pieces on the side and bottom makes it appear smaller. I actually like it better.
Obviously the new design isn’t for everyone, but on the whole, the new changes seem to bring positive reactions.
