Spied: 2014 Lexus CT With Spindle Grille
The dedicated hybrid CT is one of the last in the Lexus line up to receive the signature spindle grille. In fact the CT was one of the first vehicles that help developed the initial spindle grille look. LeftLane News has recently discovered a lightly disguised CT with a more pronounced spindle grille and a new set of wheels.
Now with these real world sightings, you can clearly see that this F SPORT model has a new spindle grille fascia including dark accents under the fog lamps similar to what we’ve seen in previous Five Axis-built project cars. From the looks of it, this F SPORT model will retain its fog lamps. It’s also unclear if those are new headlights but it appears they are as there is a single projector in the housing and an unbroken LED DRL line at the bottom.
As for the rest of the car, it appears new a new split 5 spoke wheel will be offered in a silver finish with graphite inner accents. The rear bumper gets an updated and sculpted look while the roof is blacked out. There’s even a new sharkfin antenna on top. Not sure if the blacked out roof is a disguise or not, but it would look cool if it was standard on this CT F SPORT.
