Lexus LC Yellow Edition Unveiled!
Lexus LC Yellow Edition is much more than just a coat of paint. It’s a uniquely optioned version of the brand’s halo coupe.
Those in the market for a Lexus LC now have one more color to choose from, and it’s a rather bright one. But this Flare Yellow coupe isn’t just another color option. In fact, it’s also a special edition. Yes, the Lexus LC Yellow Edition is more than just a yellow LC, it’s a full-on assault of the retina-burning hue with a few additional add-ons. The Yellow Edition LC is also breaking cover before its official debut at the Paris Motor Show, which takes place October 4-14.
In addition to the exclusive Flare Yellow paint, this special LC also comes with a unique interior treatment. The inside is finished in black, white, and warm yellow hues using fine materials, including an Alcantara headliner and semi-Aniline leather seats. The warm yellow shade adorns a variety of surfaces, including contrast stitching on the white seats, instrument panel, steering wheel, and center console arm rest.
On the outside, the Lexus LC Yellow Edition sports a few special touches as well. They include 21-inch forged alloy wheels and a carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof and active rear spoiler. The spoiler deploys at speeds above 50 mph to help maintain vehicle stability.
The Yellow Edition package is available in both LC 500 and LC 500h configurations. Deliveries for the unique coupe begin this fall in Europe and November for the U.K. The bad news? Lexus was mum on when, or if we’ll see this special yellow LC in the states. They’ve also yet to announce exact availability or pricing details, which they’ll most likely provide at the Paris Motor Show. So stay tuned!
