The first time I saw the IS-F in person, it was screaming on a dyno, and I thought it sounded awesome. But it should come as no surprise that it sounds better in CCS-R trim. This footage was shot at Motorsport Japan, and it’s pretty awesome. Enjoy.

In 2008 or 2009, it seemed like every other car at SEMA seemed to be sporting a flat paint job. And while we think a matte finish can look great on the right ride, we prefer our show cars on the flashy side. And SEMA never disappoints!
Apparently, the owner of this Lexus IS-F was caught street racing and had his car crushed. While this seems completely unreal, we know California police have done this before. But in the other crush videos, all the cars still had their wheels, and here they’re missing, along with some other components. Video after the jump.
Lexus has announced prices on its 2012 models, ranging from the CT 200h hybrid to the LS 600h L luxury hybrid sedan. Good news? The MSRPs for more than half of the Lexus lineup will remain unchanged from the 2011 model year.

I’ve done formal reviews of all of the fixed-roof Lexus IS models, including the IS-F (in fact, I owned a previous-generation IS300 almost five years), but I never got around to sampling the IS convertible, which, of course, is actually a retractable hard-top, not traditional fabric.
