2025 Lexus LX700h & LX600 Lineup & Pricing Revealed
More power and slightly more efficiency comes at a cost if one wants to upgrade to the all-new 2025 Lexus LX700h over the LX600.
The all-new 2025 Lexus LX700h – the very first hybrid version of the flagship crossover – debuted last October, mating the twin turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 with electric power to make a combined 457 horsepower and 583 foot-pounds of torque – healthy increases over the LX600 model’s 409 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, as well as offering an estimated 20 combined mpg versus the lesser model’s 19 mpg. On top of that, the 2025 Lexus LX700h is gaining a new off-road-focused Overtrail trim, leaving us with just one question – how much will all this electrified goodness cost?
We now have the answer to that question, as Lexus has officially released pricing for the 2025 LX700h lineup. As expected, it’s quite a bit pricier than the non-hybrid LX600, however, as we can see from this breakdown.
While the base 2025 Lexus LX600 starts out at $106,850 (with destination included), the cheapest 2025 Lexus LX700h available is the Overtrail model, which retails for $115,350 – a full $8,500 more, albeit with much different equipment, of course. Available in two-or three-row seating, the LX700h Overtrail also gets unique exterior treatments with darkened finishes, black or brown semi-aniline leather trim inside the cabin along with black open-pore wood, a front skid plate, and 18-inch wheels wrapped with 33-inch all-terrain tires.
Both the 2025 Lexus LX700h and LX600 are available in F Sport Handling and Luxury trims, though the hybrid SUV will cost one $4,000 more in both instances. However, perhaps more notably, the LX600 has dropped the range-topping Ultra Luxury trim for the 2025 model year, as it’s now only available with the LX700h, albeit for quite a lot more money – $141,350 versus the outgoing model’s MSRP of $133,140.
Regardless of which LX one chooses, the big SUV gets a host of new standard equipment for the new model year. That includes Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, active height control, adaptive variable suspension, a head-up display, and rear USB-C ports in the center console. The LX700h gets manual rear sunshades and a cool box in the center console as well, and the Ultra Luxury is equipped with a wireless charger up front. Models equipped with semi-aniline leather gain five massage options, too.
Ultimately, it’ll be interesting to see if shoppers deem the notable power increase of the 2025 Lexus LX700h to be worth the cost over going with the LX600, particularly since it seemingly won’t offer much in terms of efficiency gains. Regardless, we’ll know many more important details – including how the new hybrid behaves on the road – in the coming weeks.
