New Details! 2023 Lexus RX Brochure Available to Download!
Color combinations, technical specifications, and a full list of features are now known with the release of the 2023 Lexus RX Brochure.
It has been just about a month since Lexus debuted the 2023 RX. And while we are still waiting on pricing specifics, we do now have the 2023 Lexus RX brochure (<– click to download from Lexus.com). In this brochure, we discover more details about the best-selling Lexus. Everything from color combinations to option lists are included and available for you to obsess over until the order books open up. At this point, it is still expected that the RX deliveries will begin at the end of the year.
The big news at the reveal in May was the new 500h F Sport Performance model. And at the time we got a lot of the major details like horsepower figures and technical specs on all the RX models. However, now we can geek out over the minutia such as color combinations and trim options. Kirk Kreifels posted a video to his YouTube channel which gets into all the details we learned with the release of the 2023 Lexus RX Brochure. Some of the major highlights are below.
Something is Missing
The first page of the brochure covers the various powertrain options on the new RX. And the RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid is conspicuous in its absence. It is a model that we expect Lexus to offer but it is starting to look less and less likely that it will be ready as a 2023 model. The other interesting thing we learn from the powertrain page is that each engine has a significantly different transmission. The 275-horsepower turbo 4 is paired to an 8-speed automatic. The 246-horsepower hybrid engine is connected to a CVT. And the 367-horsepower unit found in the 500h F Sport Performance uses a 6-speed automatic.
Cool Colors
The brochure provides a list of all exterior and interior colors as well as the interior trim options. To their credit Lexus is offering some pretty bold colors on the new RX. Often with vehicles in this segment you are stuck with various shades of white, black and gray. And while those are on offer Lexus will paint the new RX in Nori Green Pearl, or the new Copper Crest color for you if you desire. On the inside there are also several colors to chose from. Although if you go with the RX 350 F Sport Handling or the RX 500h F Sport Performance you can only get Rioja Red or Black paired with Dark Graphite Aluminum trim.
Options
The brochure lists every option available for every RX model. It is too much to summarize here but there are a couple things that standout. On the RX 500h F Sport Performance you get as standard “Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management with Dynamic Rear Steering.” Wait a minute, rear steering? When did that slip into the RX? The sportiest model will also get Active Sound Control as standard to pump more sporty noises into the cabin. On the other end of the spectrum, you can see that even the base RX comes pretty well equipped. A 12-speaker sound system, Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, 19-inch alloy wheels, and LED fog lamps are all standard on the base RX.
