10th Anniversary Lexus F Models Headed to New Zealand
Only 500 anniversary Lexus F cars are being produced. And now, a tiny handful of New Zealanders can get their hands on one.
Just this summer, we learned that 500 special edition Lexus F models were being produced to celebrate the moniker’s 10th anniversary. We in the U.S. were lucky enough to receive a large portion of that allocation, with 340 Lexus RC F and GS F examples hitting our shores. Now it appears that Lexus F fans in New Zealand have reason to celebrate as well. The automaker just announced that a small handful of 10th anniversary cars would be sold there also.
But if you’re an interested kiwi, you’re going to want to hurry. Lexus is only sending a grand total of five RC Fs and ten GS Fs to your country. Which obviously means they’ll be in hot demand. But the 10th Anniversary Lexus F models are indeed special, which means that hunt will be well worth the effort.
All anniversary models share the same matte Nebula Grey paint, unique 19-inch black wheels, and blue Brembo brake calipers. It’s worth noting that this is the first time Lexus has offered a car with matte paint since the LFA. Which seems appropriate given the fact that they’re celebrating that very car.
Opt for an RC F, and you get front seats with blue semi-aniline leather and white accents. The steering wheel, shift knob, instrument panel hood, and front seat belt straps are also blue. And of course, you’ll find 10th Anniversary embossing on the headliner.
The GS F features the same interior treatments but the rear seats also have blue side bolsters. Blue carbon trim adorns the center console. The seatbelt straps and dash trim sport blue Alcantara. Finally, both cars proudly wear a metal plaque inside to tout their specialness.
Of course, a Lexus F car this limited will cost you. Pricing in New Zealand comes in at $177,500 ($116,770 U.S. dollars) for the RC F. The GS F will set you back $178,400 ($117,362 U.S.). But at least you know you’ll be one of only a tiny handful of people who own one!
