Flashback Friday: Matte Black Liberty Walk LC500

Upping the Ante

Japanese body kit maker Liberty Walk has developed a reputation in recent years for producing some of the wildest creations you'll ever lay eyes on. And while the company introduced its LC500 widebody kit some while ago, a customer just recently upped the visual ante by producing a sinister, matte black, Liberty Walk-equipped Lexus coupe that's the star of this YouTube video.

Stepping Up

The Lexus belongs to a guy named Jerald, who previously owned a heavily modded, blue RC350. He recently took a big step up by securing this LC500, then went crazy transforming it into one of the wildest things you'll ever see roaming the streets. And it's all captured beautifully in this short clip.

Going Wide

The main thing you'll notice about this LC is its wild Liberty Walk body kit, of course. It features massively flared wheel arches and sits ultra-low to the ground thanks to an air suspension. Front and rear diffusers add to the racy look, as do the massive wheels and tires that are tucked perfectly underneath.

From the Future

Throw on a massive rear wing, and you've got something that looks like it belongs on a track somewhere. Or from the future. But the matte black wrap job truly takes this car to the next level, giving it a sinister, under-the-radar look that only amplifies the crazy bodywork that lies underneath.
