A nice basis to start from

With a cool customer like the LC 500 that comes with a 471 horsepower 5.0-liter V8 under the hood, you know that this is the GT car you've been waiting for. That V8 engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission that allows the coupe to do the run from 0-60 in a scant 4.4-seconds and a top speed of 168 mph. However, if you want a luxury car that walks further on the wild side of things then Liberty Walk has two flavors of body kits for you.

A couple to choose from

The first of these two body kits is $15,560 and is made from a fiber-reinforced polymer or for a bit under $4,000 more you can get it in carbon fiber-reinforced polymer. The second body kit goes for a little cheaper and comes in at $13,380 in FRP or $16,740 in CFRP. The two kits look very similar but there are differences.

So what do you get?

True to Liberty Walk's ethos, the kits have John Lennon's quote on the doors that read, "Imagine all the people living in peace." The kits for the car consists of front, side and rear carbon diffusers, a rear duckbill style wing and some aggressively wide fender flares. New wheels, that are very wide themselves, sit underneath those fenders and are complemented by quad exhaust tips that could be had in a nice burnt electric blue if you wish.

Low but not slow

If you wish to push things further than just the kit you can get a new suspension setup that will drop things down to a speed bump fearing height. While the cars in these pictures are slammed as low as possible this is just not realistic and are dropped down just for the sake photography and being show queens. A quick image search online will turn up vehicles that are a much more reasonable height and still look great with the kit. My personal favorite is the Liberty Walk Huracan.

More aggression but also more smiles

Whatever your opinion is on these kits and even further the exposed riveted look that is on fire right now in the aftermarket scene these LCs definitely now have a new personality.

Also, if you're ever having a bad day just think about how happy you'd make Liberty Walk boss Wataru Kato if you bought a body kit for your LC.
