would you consider this pic below more gt style or more vip style?
to me it is sorta new school vip transitioning to a gt style.

i would agree. only thing missing is the over fenders and the large wing on the back.

Agreed...I read a bit on VIP GT style, and they are saying it started in Japan by puting high dollar 3 piece wheels on drift cars. I just see the progression in kit builders leaning more towards a race/GT style instead of a clean and classy look. Lexus has done a good job of adding some aggression to their factory styling, so it is natural for the kits to follow suit. Whatever it is, I like it...

if i had the money and time to waste i probably would just for "looks cool"

Here is my build in process...all new sheet metal coming from the body line down, and might actually be considered VIP GT Style when it is all done.
