UAS w/ Coils Vs Air Force Cup Kit
Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of these two?
If anyone here has had experience with these your opinions would be appreciated.
I want my car to go on air but i dont want to sacrifice much of the ride quality, meaning i want it to ride like coilovers, a stiff sporty ride if possible.
I hear if your on BAGS you gotta drive like an old man
I also heard its not a great idea to ride with air in the cup kit at all times.

after researching i decided to go with air cup kit/coils vs bags. bags will give you much more ride height control. only draw back is that if the bag goes, you gotta get towed.
i went with air cup/coil and got the kit from Airforce. the ride adjustment is perfect for ME. i only need around 3 inches of travel to clear bumps and driveways.
you do not want to be riding with air in the cups for extended time, just not comfy.
you should call Kennedy at Platinum vip; they fab their own kits.
its called the phantom air cup kit. his air tanks are SICK
i cant speak for uas/coils.

Yeah i checked out the Platinum VIP Air Cups. I hear with their setup you can ride for a little longer with air in the cups but its not recommended though.
Im getting a good deal on an Air Force Cup Kit so im just going to go with them
Phantoms VIP Air Cups isn't too bad though, Is the Phantom VIP Air tanks suppose to be smaller?

if i could do it all over again, i'd go Phantom, but at the time it wasnt designed yet. only reason i dont like my AF cup is when going up, it makes a clunking sound. works fine and all..but i cant exactly take it anywhere to fix....with phantom, you can take your car right back to the shop and get it fixed if problems arise. Right now...i am kinda waiting for my setup to blow or break (hasnt done so and dont think it ever will)...give me an excuse to go Platinum VIP Phantom kit. hey...what car are you buying it for?? i can sell you mine.
And a plus..Phantom cup kit comes with "the *****" air tank. i'll link a pic when i can.

Check this out:
tell me if you have seen a sicker air tank...
BTW i do not profit from Platinum VIP in any way shape or form. Kennedy has been doing my and my buddies cars for over 8 yrs.

To clear up some things...
1. Yes you can ride with full air on the Phantom Cup Kit, will not harm the system at all. The reason why we say we dont recommend it is because, we do not want to replicate the bag setup.
2. Air Force cup system is indeed a cup hybrid system. but is NOT meant to be driven with air whatsoever.
3. Bags/Coil... well its great for driving aired up with no hassles and parking slammed. but there's no rebound like how you would with a true coil over. and like what BlueRex said, once the bag blows, you gotta get towed.
