Stretch Tire Guru's!!
Ok, I'm about to pull the trigger for some Falken FK452s but I'm getting mixed opinions. Wheel size is 19x8.5 & 19x10, IMO I want to run 215/35 & 235/35 giving it a bit of a stretch but not too much. Is this a good stretch or overkill?

IMO, that would be a good stretch as FK452 runs a bit wider compared to other tire companies... but unless your running a +22 or lower, i dont see any reason to stretch on your isx50

I used to run a 235 452 on my 10. They run pretty midland to wide so it wont be that much stretch. I have run as small as a 215 on a 10, but that was on the back end of a little paperweight car of a VW.

meh, stretch 'em JUST enough to clear, no more, no less.
the point is to have the MOST tire for the aggressive offset, not the least....

Depends on the brand of tires and the sidewall, they all run differently in regards to stretch.
here are some pictures to give you an idea from a really good thread in about this on VSC.

which would again lead me to question why you really need to stretch at all with such a conservative offset
