1999 sc300 235 50r 18
Hi all,
I am in need of tires, and my 1999 SC300 was a paperweight this winter...almost immobile. It currently has 235/50R/18 tires on it. The rims are 2010-2011 Lexus SC430 18" 74227.

Can I go down to a 225 tire on this rim? Should I? I'd like to get a higher end all-season tire to avoid switching out every winter. I figured if I drop to 225 I could buy a better tire with the money I have.
Just wondering if anyone had thoughts. Thank you.

Thanks, Jadu...I really appreciate your input.
I was seriously thinking about even dropping to a 17" rim, and selling these 18"s. I'm a 5 spoke guy, and these 10 spokes are nice rims, but I think someone else may like them better than me.
