Re-alignment and other wheel mod ????
Hey group,
Want to do some mods, thought I would start with rims,
What I want to know is;
Should I get the alignment done after install?
Also, what do hub centric rings do?
If I am running the same size width on the front and back (lets say 8.5"), should I get wheel spacers on the rear. Will they help performance/handling, and do the spacers cause any issues with the brakes or anything else?
Thanks for all your help so far,
Joel

If you are upgrading to new wheels...and NOT suspension.....then there should be no reason to get a re-alignment (assuming alignment is OK with stock wheels).
If you plan to lower the car, then you should get an alignment done (wait a week to allow spings/coils to settle for brand new parts). If used springs/coils, you can do it a few days later.
Hubcentric rings are supposed to center the wheel for mounting. It reduces possible vibration if the wheel is mounted without the rings.
Spacers just push the wheel out...25mm is almost 1 inch. It may help very little with handling because of the wider stance.....ask Hameed....he installed spacers a few months ago.

spacers r usually used to get the rims to be flush with the fender if the rims sit in the wheel well to much. Also spaces are sometimes needed when u do a big brake upgrade and need more room behind the rim.

Ltuned springs and shocks.
