I just want to let you guys know that the continental conti extremes (235/45/17)are Nice!!! I replaced my stock michelins about a month ago and these extremes are extremely nice tires. I have driven them in the rain several times now and they handle like a dream!!!. They are very quiet compared to the xgt michelins. They are the best bang for the buck. I got them for 540$ mounted and balanced with road hazard at discount tire. I had a few members email me asking how they were so I figured I would post my results with them.

I have the 245-40/18's on my LS and they are great much better all around than the bridgestone pole 3's I took off.

i have them on my 17's and they grip pretty nicely. Haven't really abused them much to test their limits but they seem pretty good in the rain. These tires seem to love being chirped. They make a ton of noise unlike my toyo proxies i had on before the continentals. Maybe they weren't broken in yet.... They are broken in now =). Anyone want to buy some tires in 17 in? lol. i put them on for one week and my 19's came in. Needless to say, the 19's are on the car now and they are P.I.M.P
