Question LS400 Tire Recommendation

My tires need replacing on my 2000 LS400. It came with Dunlops. What would be the best tire for ride and noise? We live in Missouri so we have to deal with some snow as well.

Mine came with Bridgstone Turanzas and i could not be happier. I just finished putting on two new ones. Very quit and great traction especially in the rain.

I had three sets of Pirelli's on my LS. Great tire, a little loud, but
fun to drive with. Although I was only getting 30K miles on them.
I switched to Dunlop 2000's and they are a world of difference.
SO much more quiet, stick better (cant get the drifting) and overall
just wear good on FL roads. Dont know about snow capabilities.

I replaced my original Bridgestone Turanzas on my 99 with Michelin's Energy MXV4 Plus, 225/60R16 97V (Lexus recommended size). They ride absolutely quiet and handle better than the Bridgestones. Check for sales and promotions. I got a free Palm Pilot with the purchase of 4. I'm very happy with them.

I can vouch for Michelin Energy MXV4's...I had them on my stock wheels before I upgraded to 18's. Very quiet ride and ok wet traction...wouldn't recommend them for snow though.

MXV4 PLUS. The "plus" is different than the just plain MXV4. I've wasted so much money on tires looking for one that is just as good as a Michelin. You can go to Sam's and get good deals.

Thanks for the advice on the MXV4 Plus. I will look into them. I have also heard a lot of good about the Bridgestone and the Dunlop. I however have favored the Michelin in the past for my other cars. I really emphasize the desire to maintain a nice ride rather than performance or long life. I suppose these are a 40,000 mile tire?

I have 35,000 miles on mine at present. I expect to get easily 40,000. Just guessing I'll get 45,000. No way 50K!!
