Question 295/45/20 or 275/45/20?

I have a GX470 and am getting new rims (20s). What size tire should I go with.....295/45/20 or 275/45/20? What are the benefits of one over the other? Will there be any noticeable difference in performance/handling/etc? Thx!

Default 295/45/20 without a doubt!!

A few weeks ago I mounted my 20X10 HRE's with 295/45-20's and they look great with no interferences whatsoever. I initially wanteed 305/45-20's, but since it hadn't been done, and with the advice from Mike in Guam and HRE, we stuck with the 295's. The advantage is you only decrease the height of the tire by .1" which is negligible. Will post some pictures when I get around to washing the truck. Good luck!

Default 295

295/45 20 is going to have a better ride quality and more stability in the corners. Your wheels should be at least 9.5 inches wide though.

Default I recommend...

265/50 20 would be the best size for that wheel.
