Default Axis Se7en Mod's on GS300

my oem tires are finally worn so its time to get new ones. i've decided to just get a whole new set of wheels to change the look of the car a little. since im on a budget im looking at Axis Se7en Mods. Since i am not familiar with correct fitments with the 98+ gs300 wheels i want to know if this set up will be fine.

I found this set on www.wheelmax.com:

19x8 for all fours ( i want to be able to roate'em)

should the offset be 35mm or 45mm?

bolt patern is 5x114.3 correct?

my car is lowered on H&R sports. will i have any issues?

oh yeah, the entire set including who knows what kinda tires is 1699 shipped. is that too good to be true?

Thanks!
Mike

no one else has replied so i will try 2 help..

1st.. not so great wheel 2 begien with.. quality and style combined
2nd.. they will probaly give give u some cheap old falcons or left over nittos, if u get nittos its ok.
3rd.. its a 1pc wheel that will probably bend 1st hole u hit, cheaply made lips. i have an is300 friend who owns a pair and regrets the second he made his choice.
uh .. price seems fair 4 the quality not bad 4 19's at all.
the style of the wheels is sort of weird but if u like the style than thats what matters most but i can asure u quality is not up 2 parr..
with the offsets question i'm not sure with 19's what it should b but 5x114.3 is correct.
u shouldn't have any rubbing issues with the drop u have...

Do a search on it. I know we've discussed this before because I was looking into getting those rims when I was looking to upgrade. The one you're getting is the one piece, there is also a 3 piece version which is better quality (I think), but it is EXPENSIVE (HRE range, maybe more).

Here is a pic of the 3 piece one:

The Axis Se7en Mod is a CHEAP wheel in every respect. It's NOTHING like the 3-piece Mod except for the number of spokes. Look at the Mod in person, it's UGLY.

I'd rather have stock 16" wheels then the MODs....there's a reason why that wheel is $1699 new with tires in 19"....

If you decide on 19x8, opt for the +35 offset and use a 245/35-19 tire. No rubbing with this set-up.

Correct... also referred to as 5x4.5"

If you decide to go this route, have them send you the appropriate 60.1mm hub-centering rings, to minimize the possibility of steering wheel shake/vibration.
Axis has been aroud for a while, and I know the owner personally- he is a smart and saavy businessman, I don't think they're going anywhere for a while. However, since wheel styles come & go quickly in the one-piece wheel marketplace, you might consider buying an extra wheel as a replacement if one gets damaged.

thanks for the feedback guys. but i am just wondering how fragile these rims really are? are they just subject to more denting or something?

I have seen the mod sevens in person and they look cheap IMO.The lips are very dull as well. The demo wheel they had in the shop had two loose bolts in it too, not a very good impression.
