If that intent, you'll need to have the fenders cut-shaped to clear the overall diameter of the combo. Cost depends how deep your wallet is. Also to have in mind is that the weight of the wheels add stress to the suspension and brakes.

If the bushings are not in good shape now, they thump-clunk and possibly be metal on metal. An alignment will be impossible and those $$ tires will wear out pretty quickly. On an old LS, typical pats are: strut rod bushings, inner outer tie rods, ball joints, upper and lower control arm bushings.

As for braking stress: the stock combo come in around 50#'s. The rough calculation for rotational weight is that for every 1# added at the wheels varies depending based on location but roughly translates to about 8#'s. The shocks are not calibrated to dampen that weight. Many 22' combos weigh in at ~70-80#'s and stopping takes lots more pedal pressure-pad wear, increased heat and longer stopping distances.

The other we don't talk about is driveline stress. Breaking an axle spline or tooth/teeth in the differential is also an added possibility. The carrier bushings also dampen some of the added mass added at the wheels.

Just want to bring awareness that there are other considerations than just big wheels involved.
