Slow leak on RX300 tire 4 mo after purchase - dealer fix?
I have a slow leak on one of my tires on my RX300 that is causing it to loose about 5psi/week. I just purchased this about 4 months ago (used).
Is Lexus likley to be of any help on fixing this, or should I take it to a tire place and have them deal with it?
Either way, for very slow leaks, what is the common thing to do - replace the whole tire, or seal it somehow?

With my Goodyear Intecrappy's, I've had to visit local tire shops 4 times in 15,000 miles, due to nails, screws and crap that my tires have picked up on the road.
They pull the nail, remove the tire and patch it from the inside. I go to a Goodyear dealer to get this done. If there is a puncture in your tire, and it's not close to (or in) the sidewall, any tire shop can fix it. For me, it's $15.00 each time.
Maybe it's the roads these days, but I have never had tires pick up this much junk.

Am I correct in thinking that basically Lexus warranty doesn't cover anything to do with tires?
After spending 4 weeks screwing around with Firestone after they destroyed the brakes on my Honda (long story, but wife wasn't impressed to find the car had no brakes while she was driving it), I'm really wary of these kinds of places.....

there's a large northwest tire chain called les schwab, and they'll repair tires for free, and they never check if you bought it there or not. so, its too good to be true, yet true. just yesterday i had a nail, and they took it off, told me i had problems, and did a few other things totaling 45min and didn't get charged a dime, and those tires weren't from them.
they're spendy, but i have probably never encountered better customer service in any walk of life, let alone a large retail tire chain
