Default Stripping chrome from aluminum wheels

Just got a set of chrome supra wheels for pretty cheap. One of the wheels is peeling real bad. Is there anyway to strip the chrome off by myself or do I need to take it to a chrome shop? How much would it cost to strip and/or rechrome. Could I just strip all 4 and then polish the aluminum? What do you think I should do, because I really don't want to get rid of them. Thanks
