Default need some help with tire size, trying to go for stretch tires

Hi CL members,
I am looking for some tires to stretch on my wheels. I am on 20's 8.5 and 9.5 offset is +40. Wanting to get stretch tires due to that my fronts tends to my front fenders, nothing too extreme for the stretch. And I am going to get some spacers too after I get the right tires. So if you guys can help or suggest any tire sizes that would be great. Because I am not very familiar with tires.

Thanks

What is the year and model of the Lexus? We need to know how tall the tire has to be to keep the odometer, speedo, and transmission all within spec.

Just one note, if you are going to run stretched tires because you have a fender clearance issue, then adding a spacer is just going to exacerbate the issue at hand...

Correct adding spacers will only hurt, on the other hand Zig@tr you said something interesting, if I post my specs will you be able to let me know if I am throwing things off?

2007 is350
19x9 225/35/19
19x10.5 245/40/19
Thanks

You're a bit tall in the rear I would do 255/35R19 in the back if it were me. The sizes you have now make the front 25.2" tall and rear 26.7" tall, so Speedo is a bit slow and off the line performance may be a bit sluggish. The 255/35R19 is 26.0" tall and 10mm wider. Overall no major problems.

a 255 on a 9.5 isnt going to be a stretch. a 225 will be a stretch. on an 8.5 a 205 is as big as id go on a 8.5 if you want stretch I mean that a decently skinny wheel to begin with.

How do you calculate the height?

255/35-20

width (255) times aspect ratio (35% or .35) gets you one sidewall height in MM (255 x .35 = 89.25mm)

divide sidewall height in MM by 25.4 to get inches (89.25 / 25.4 = 3.51 inches)

multiply sidewall height in inches by 2 because there are two sidewall heights in the diameter (height) (3.51 x 2 = 7.02)

add wheel diameter (20 + 7.02 = 27.02")

255/35-20 = 27.02" overall diameter...

just a note - different tire manufacturers and even different product lines within a manufacturer will vary from this, but it is a good starting point - to find diameter for sure, you need to go to the manufacturers product sheets... there, you will also find loaded diameter as well, which accounts for the tire being on the ground with a load on it...
