helppp....any idea how to loosen up w/ bolt in caliper ???
I tried to change my rotor today and the caliper bolt just wont budge at all. I don't have impact wrench, so only using breaker bar and limited space inside around the wheel.
Which direction it supposed to go ? when you're facing the car, is the breaker bar supposed to go counterclockwise or clockwise ?
Will WD40 loosen up the bolt in caliper ??

as you are looking at the bolt, righty-tighty, lefty loosey
just remember its backwards if you are looking at the backside of the bolt, so, you should be trying to turn it opposite of the above, so, right to loosen
WD40 has limited use in this, it may help, but PB Blaster works better... chances are though that it isn't a corrosion issue, it was just that tight to start...

so it's like that ? from OUTSIDE goes to counterclockwise ( LEFT ) to loosen them up ?

I guess I have to try this PB Blaster because I could not get the bolt off my rear caliper. I need to change my rear pads and will try it again but the caliper bolts are on way too tight and won't budge. When I changed my front pads I actually snapped the bolt head right off the bolt trying to get it off because it was on so tight, luckily I was able to pull the plunger back after that and just pop the rest of the bolt out and got a new bolt. If this PB blaster does not work I may just cut the bolt head off with a dremel tool and replace the bolts. Getting the bolts off the calipers is by far the most difficult part in changing your pads.
