sport cup tires
#7
I have 265/35/19f and 305/30/19r Michelin Pilot Sport CUP tires..................on my Supra! They are the best all around DRY WEATHER tire, period. They dead hook 720 rwhp from a 60 roll in the Supra and on concrete hook 600 rwhp in 2nd gear. I would never ever ever run them on my daily as they suck in the rain and do wear VERY quickly.

We are talking about three different grades of tire here...
Pilot Sport Cup = street legal race tire - wears very quickly, has almost zero wet traction
PS2 = great all around summer dry/wet max performance tire
Invo = inexpensive, less performance oriented tire
So, out of your three, cost being an issue, get the Invo's; all around drivability, get the PS2's; max dry performance, don't care about money or tread life, get the Pilot Sport Cups...
quite simple if you ask me...
if you are seriously considering the pilot sport cups, you might also look at the new Bridgestone RE11... similar in design, for all out max dry performance... I had nothing but great things to say about the RE01R's they replace but according to the guys that changed from RE01R to the RE11, evidently it's night and day better... just another option...

Sport cups are straight up race tires. If your car is going to be seeing track time then I would suggest them. Otherwise PS2 would be my next choice over the Invo. You just cant beat the quality of a Michelin. I ran the PS2 for about 4 months on my rear and they are just barely exposing the wear bar. Awesome tire!
