How long to crack rims?
How long do you think it will be before my 20's crack or get some serious damage? I've had them on for 3 days now and already the side of one of the rims is like dinged up on one spot not bad but still.
I hit bumps pretty hard on the highway and theres really no way to not do that and I can avoid about 90% of the potholes around town/hiway but some hit you/me too quick or at night. How long before these are ruined or cracked? They look great but next time I'm going with 18's lol...

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Like I said I can avoid a majority of potholes and bumps but theres the occasional whopper that comes out of no where. Every time I'm on the highway and there is like a repair thing I guess you would say where theres metal in the road to connect it?
It slams hard, I can hear and feel it so I almost always pull over and check lol but it's less than a week so I'm thinking these won't last the whole summer. Live and learn I guess, Ma. is a bad place to have anything nice with the roads...
I can't always avoid stuff because of oncoming cars and I feel ripping those drivers off the road and of course the a**holes who tailgate when I go slow... Would you guys say I really just have to avoid potholes do the best I can with the bumps but really just look out for the potholes?

Cast wheels tend to crack on heavy impact usually if your car is a daily driver...I've had multipiece cast wheels before, once they crack their not the same anymore, they will continue to crack on different parts of the wheels...The wheel integrity has been comprised, its no longer truely as strong as it was originally....Forged wheels tend to bend a little on the weak spots but they never crack...As far as the longevity, it all depends on the condition of the road, your driving habits, tire protection, and the quality of the wheel..
