Anyone heard or have Bridgtone Blizzard???
i was looking around for winter tires and this place near my house told me bout his one tire call blizzard(i think thats the name of it) by bridgetone. anyway he said that he will sale me four of these for bout 1,500 bucks. at first i was like no thank you with that i could buy a lot of upgrades for my car. but then the told me that those tires were tested in Canada on actual ice! anywho i was wondering what you guys think about this tire, is ut worth it?? what would oyu recomend for winter tires in the midwest where you never no how much snow you are gonna get.

An excellent winter tire which, thankfully, I don't need anymore.
Check with CL sponsor Tire Rack. They sell them for well under a grand.

BTW, if it were me, I'd get a set of 17" tires and wheels dedicated for winters. Makes changing them a breeze, will cost less than a grand with the rims if you do a little shopping, and 17" work better in snow.
For those who doubt it, either do some research or just ask Tire Rack.

Just installed Blizzaks WS-60s and was blown away by how quiet and smooth they made the ride. They cost me $578 for a set of four. Since this is my first winter on the ground with them, I don't have any anectodal evidence as to how they handle in snow and ice.
