LS 400 tires
I have a 95 LS 400 and I need two tires.
Currently, all 4 are H rated, and two are in good shape, at least another 15-20K left.
This is my wife's car and a family vehicle. Average drivers. A few long trips, but mostly around town driving in Northern Ohio.
My questions are:
1. Is it ok to mix V rated and H rated tires? I was told I could but the V rated tires would have to be on the back, which raises rotation issues (or I have to buy 2 more tires in 6K miles.
2. Will I void any tire warranty by putting two H rated tires on this car ?
3. I thought I settled on the Yokahama Avid V4's but then started reading about those tires being loud on the LS 400's, so now I'm unsure. Any suggestions for what type of tires to get? I'd like to keep the nice, quiet ride I have.
Thanks in advance.

Your car should have never had H rated tires on it to begin - that is a potential safety and handling concern as it is...
BFG makes the Traction T/A in that size that is relatively decent priced, Pirelli P6 4 seasons would be good for an all around summer/winter tire, Kumho ASX's aren't horrible, and then we get into the more expensive Bridgestone / Michelin stuff, which I prefer, but are priced somewhat higher than what you are looking into...
