Don't know anything about Nitto, but I had 19" Falken 452 and I disliked them enough to sell them within 3 weeks, they were so noisy that my wife's Mercedes ML55 AMG with 285/50/18 Michelin Diamalis are quieter than my LS430 with the Falken 452's.
Actually if I were you I would spend the extra $100~$200 to get the name brands tires, and go to Discount Tires because they would exchange for other brands if you dislike the first set.

Directional tires will always be louder, and I got the FK452 as well, although it's pretty good quality for the price, but I think it's so damn noisy. Had very good experience with the Pirelli P-Zero Nero and Yokohama Advan Sport (245/30/20 and 285/25/20) on my W211 E55, will definitely consider either one of them when it's time to change the tires.

Nitto 555's are no better... in fact, after about a year, they get so hard and dry they don't handle for anything anymore too...

I have heard alot of great things about the 452s

They made the side wall harder so there will be a tad bit more noise.

Not sure on the nitto.

I have had the Falkens 452s on my 05 G35 Coupe for 8K now. They are quiet and perform well, esp in the rain. This is the first time I've read that the Falkens are loud, it's usually that they are not as "sticky" (hence their higher wear rating) and softer sidewalls. Compared to the Bridgestone RE050A I had stock, they are not as sticky but A LOT quieter and by the looks of things should last longer. On the G, the stock rears go anywhere from 15-20K. If you're talking about loud tires, TDWs are LOUD.

KDW maybe? Mine aren't...

to me Falkens belong on drift cars and for people that can't afford nicer tires...

just my personal opinion...

Hahah I just put some Falken RT-615 on my rears hoping to give them a mild stretch. They are alright. The 452 are perfect for those looking for a crazy stretch. They are a nice confortable luxury tire. I would definetly pick those over the Nitto 555. The only good tire nitto makes is the NT-01.

I can agree with that for the most part... 615's are ok, it's about the only good tire they make worth anything...
