soem of the dronnels are forged, so the quality shoucld be fine, though i am not sure about the ones you listed..plus this design in 18s would looked pretty small

volk gtp is very very good wheels at that price range(forged, 2 piece, with LIP). my cousin emailed that shop called wheel something, but the owner told him that shipping is extra

also at first he thought that $1860 on 18x7.5 was good too. but later he found a better cash deal for $1750 on 18x7.5 f+r out the door, and he can go pick them up. if you are interested, let me know, since you are in s.cal too. btw, i thought you SC takes at least 18x8 f+r, or 18x8+9

Dronell quality shouldn't be too bad but those are knock-off designs. Work EMOTION wheels.

Hey,

I'm really interested in those GT-P's. The thing is...I don't have the cash ready just yet...it's in my bank acct, but my mom works at the bank and sees all my transactions. it's my own work money, but I don't want her to start asking questions, if you know what i mean...

But where did your cousin get the rims from? Will the 18x7.5 not work for my car? I know it might look funny. Any idea on whether or not Volk makes these rims in a wider version? How much more would that be?

$1750 is without tires?

Thanks a lot!!!

just found this site...it lists 18x7.5 and 18x8 as the same price...18x9 is just $87 more for the set...

hmmm...what's diamond cut?

howie,

email me, we will discuss the details....(lexusbill@clublexus.com)

Diamond cut, aka, polish finish, shiny, but not blindingly so...fits LEXUS the best, imo. where did you see the price of $87 more?

we first found $1860(18x7.5 f+r), rims only, then i found $1750(18x7.5 f+r), rims only. on this gtp model, the sizes are as follow:

18x7.5,
18x8,
18x9
18x10

the SC can/should) take either 18x8f+r, or 18x8+9 for staggered + sweet look
18x7.5 would be too small for the right tyres in 235, or 245/40/18. you need a min of 18x8

i underdsatnd your situation as i have been there myself some 15 years ago. just try to get something to reward yourself for the year. besides, the prices are very reasonable. it is not like you are spending the $$$ on drugs or something(though car stuff can be addicting too), or spending several $ks.

let me know, thanks

william
