Default ....help Please.......

well i have some rims and they rub real bad.i mean i cant have more then two people in my car at a time its so bad.well any way there is no place around hear that rolls fenders.and i dont want to rent a rollor.does any one know of any do it yourself ways to do it???or should i just get the dremal out and shave the fenders.if i shave the fender well it hurt anything???thanks guys

imho it's better to shave the fenders anyway, less chance of chipping the fender paint imho

but dremel? that's definitely a WRONG tool! that's pretty weak. you need stuff like cutter or belt sander

thanks there is also a blackpice that covers the lip.what do i do whit that.just take it off and shave it also.so i would need like a belt sander.how about a grinder???its not going to mess anything up is it?(paint,metal,etc...)well thanks man you alwas pull through with the answers

You have to remove that black piece. Be very careful when shaving, otherwise you will mess up the paint/fender. I would cover up the painted fender area in case the sander/grinder slips. I would also suggest shaving at an angle.

Don't know what you mean by "getting it up," but I'm sure you can re-use the fender liner with a little work. Personally, I think it looks better without that black fender liner piece.

good looking out brian. yes definitely careful and p ut on duct tape or whatever to protect the paint first when you shave. t hen you are good to go

my fender lips are all shaved as well, very clean and i love it.

and yes grinder will work fine too. the whole idea is to go rough in the beginning, and when it's close to the edge, use finer grid
