Default I wanna hear about some rim set-ups

I'm getting tired of looking at the stock rims and I want something that will stand out. I need to get new tires anyways, so I figure I'll just change out the wheels in the next couple months.

Only problem is... I'm a college student and I dont have much money to throw into this car right now so Im not going to have the money to drop it for awhile. What do yall think? 19's or 20's? I don't want the tires to scrub when making sharp turns or going over speed bumps. I love the turning radius of this car and def dont wanna sacrifice that

Any pics of 19 and 20 inch set-ups without the drop? What do you guys recommend???

I dont suggest doing any rims without a drop. At least go for lowering springs. They only go fro about $200ish, whereas coilovers are nearer to $1g...

If you are looking for inexpensive, you should stick the classifieds. My 20's will be in soon and Im broke so I have to roll Monster Truck style until I get coilovers.

I would reccomend dropping it before you go to rims. That will give it a "new" look.

I've just had nothing but sports cars in the past. 2-door V8s and now that I've finally got a four door luxury car, I want something comfortable. I've already got a car that's got a body kit AND is dropped 2.5". I get stuck on speed bumps and my tires scrub when I turn. I just got the Lex a few months ago and need a little "personalization".

$200 isnt bad at all. My main question though is what size rims and drop would you recommend? This isn't going to be a show car, just a car that turns heads. I really dont want to have to worry about anymore curbs, speed bumps, or rough rides. I love the smooth lexus ride and don't want to give that up. Need advice

A mild drop will cost more than just the $200 for springs. Shocks are also recommended and labor should also be factored into the price. Its certainly more than $200 is my only point here. What is your budget anyway?
