Goodyear Assurance TripleTred on my '01 LS430???
Has anyone used these tires on an LS430? My '01 needs new shoes. I am looking for an all around tire that will not be used in snow. I want quiet, performance and durability (yes I want everything). My driving is relatively calm, other than straightahead highway speeds of 80 - 85mph. I have another car to play with. Have you tried these?

TripleTred on LS430
My local Goodyear dealer says no as the side walls are too stiff for the Lexus. He suggests the ComfortTred. A friend of mone put them on his '01 recently and is happy. Jacquo

Jacquo, Thanks for the response.
Quite amazing that there are so many active members of the forum yet no one who has used these tires. Maybe it is a bad choice for this car? Maybe LS drivers don't consider Goodyear a good enough brand? I'll never know.

Update:
Well, I've had my Tripletred's for almost a year and they are terrific. Smooth, quiet and have been great in rain and snow. I had planned on getting snow tires, but they proved unnecessary after purchasing these. I have also since put a set on the family minivan and have recommended them to a friend with a GS430. They are also showing almost no wear. I have them rotated and balanced every 5000 miles (free with the purchase).
Apparently I can't tell the difference I would have had with a "more premium tire"

The Goodyears are great tires, for their price point... They handle well, and are excellent in the wet, however, there are definitely better riding tires out there. Quality wise, they are probably the best tire Goodyear makes (along with the GS-D3)
